Obesity Sample Bank The collection at the Obesity Sample Bank comprises biological samples for biomedical research on patients (children and adults) who have been diagnosed as morbidly obese or have related co-morbidities, and are treated at the Integral Obesity Treatment Unit managed by the Endocrinology and Nutrition Department at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. Enhanced informed consent Donors are asked for their consent to use samples aimed at contributing to better knowledge, diagnosis and treatment for obesity and other related co-morbidities.
