Research lines Quantitative analysis of MR images: image analysis and software development This line is focused on the application of computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning and fuzzy logic techniques to the analysis of MR images. Some areas of interest are the study of lesions, and iron quantification by means of advanced techniques such as QSM and SWI. IP: Fco. Current interest resides in the study of the cerebral edema (characteristics, evolution, relationship with clinical variables) and the identification of neurometabolic patterns associated to episodic HE, that may allow the recognition of the underlying pathophysiology, the development of biomarkers and the design of individualized therapies.
