Sofia Tejada Magraner

Graduate in Biology from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), with a Master's degree in Research and Advances in Microbiology from the University of Granada (UGR). In 2018 she obtained a training contract with the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Enfermedades Respiratorias (CIBERES). I am currently a full-time researcher in the CRIPS group (Clinical Research and Innovation in Pneumonia and Sepsis) at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), developing my PhD thesis.

I earned my degree in Biology in 2015 at the University of Balearic Islands, in Mallorca, Spain, followed by a Master's in "Research and Advances in Microbiology" at the University of Granada Barcelona, in Granada, Spain. Currently, I am a pre-doctoral researcher of the Clinical Research and Innovation in Pneumonia and Sepsis department at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute in Barcelona, Spain. I perform PhD in Medicine and Translational Research at the University of Barcelona, Spain.

During my PhD in Barcelona, I have received additional training on clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine, through courses taught by different national (CIBERES, VHIR) and international organizations (ESCMID, ISPOR). Since 2018, I have participated in CIBERES and VHIR training sessions. In addition, I have attended and presented different posters in congresses, including the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), the European Society of Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy (ESPT), and European Respiratory Society (ERS).

I have authored and co-authored of 17 articles, published in journals such as Journal of Fungi, Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology, European Journal of Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia Critical Care & Pain Medicine, and Advances in Therapy.
