Francisco Ramón Martínez Ricarte I am coordinator of Neuro-oncology and Radiosurgery of the Neurosurgery Service of Vall d'Hebrón University Hospital and member of the Research Unit of Neurotraumatology and Neurosurgery (UNINN) of the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR). I am involved in several research projects and clinical trials in this area of knowledge as well as Neurotraumatology, an area to which I also dedicate myself. I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2003 and completed my specialization via MIR of Neurosurgery at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital (HVH) in Barcelona (2004-2009). Since 2009 I am a specialist in Neurosurgery in the HVH and I am the neuro-oncology and radiosurgery coordinator of the Neurosurgery service and co-coordinator of the neuro-oncology committee and member of the HVH metastasis committee. My healthcare activity focuses mainly on neuro-oncology and radiosurgery as well as Neurotraumatology, with special dedication to advanced neuro-oncology (surgery with awake patients, combination of surgery and radiosurgery in the treatment of patients with brain metastasis, image-guided surgery and / or Neuromonitoring .... etc), combining this assistance aspect with the research part and collaborating in various translational research projects. At the research level, I have participated in numerous clinical trials and research projects with competitive and non-competitive funding. I am the author or co-author of numerous articles published in national and international journals. At the teaching level, I am a collaborating professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a professor in different university master's degrees. I have participated as a speaker in numerous national and international conferences.
