Speaker: Dr. Joaquim Vives Armengol, Senior Researcher Group Leader. Cell Therapy Service. Blood and Tissue Bank
Abstract: CA24114: A COST Action to create a pan-European network of SoHO establishments and collaborating partners for rapid and sustainable access to ATMPs Cell and Tissue processing institutions play a central role in managing Substances of Human Origin (SoHOs) and are increasingly engaged in the development of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) through strong links with healthcare systems, RDI labs, industry and regulators. To maximize impact and ensure equitable patient access, our COST Action project proposes an international network that fosters collaboration of all stakeholders involved across Europe and beyond while upholding ethical values, voluntary donation of SoHO, and professional and public education.
