VHIR Institutional PhD Call 2025

VHIR makes its own and open call for a doctoral fellowship programme devoted to attracting early-stage researchers with a special interest in biomedical research who wish to carry out doctoral studies at VHIR. The aim of these grants is to train 4 doctoral candidates over a period of 4years within the research groups of the Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus environment.

Clinical trials are our best strategy for making new therapeutic approaches and new treatment opportunities available to patients. The Vall d'Hebron Campus is an international benchmark in clinical trials. We closed the year 2022 with a record figure of 1,761 active clinical trials.

One of the most important projects of this joint endeavour is the ‘No estic sol’ project for children and adults: a benchmark care model for minority illnesses which, under the leadership of Vall d'Hebron, has already been extended to other centres.

Practical workshops and the Meet the Expert session, so that attendees could interact directly with some of the speakers, complete the round tables.

More than 400 professionals from the fields of health, communication, and political institutions exchange reflections and experiences. Experts warn about the impact of misinformation and the need for transparent and effective communication
