I graduated in Medicine in 2016 from the Universidad de Murcia (UMU). I completed my residency in Pediatrics and its Specific Areas at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid (2017–2021), with a special dedication to pediatric oncohematology during the final year of training. Since completing my residency, I have been working as a pediatric oncohematologist. I began my professional activity at Parc Taulí Hospital (Sabadell), where I focused on non-oncological hematology and rare hematological diseases. Since October 2021, I have been part of the Pediatric Oncohematology Department at Hospital Vall d’Hebron. My clinical work focuses on the care of children and adolescents with leukemia and non-oncological hematological diseases, addressing the diagnosis, treatment, and their comprehensive patient care. I specialize in clinical support programs (management of antibiotic therapy, oral healthcare, etc.) and humanization initiatives. I have also contributed to the development and consolidation of the hemoglobin S and C newborn screening information program for families in Catalonia, ensuring communication of cases from 2015 to 2023 and collaborating in the creation of the current program information delivered through primary care. Regarding my scientific activity, I participate as a researcher in clinical trials, as well as in various collaborative projects within the unit and with other pediatric teams. I am a member of several scientific societies and working groups specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology, including: • Erythropathology Group of the Sociedad Española de Hematología y Oncología Pediátricas (SEHOP) • Pediatric Hematology Working Group of the Sociedad Catalana de Pediatría • European Hematology Association (EHA)
