Research lines Genetic bases of Behçet disease. We are currently enrolled in this multicentre study to investigate the possible influence of the genetic background in the disease pathogenesis, and to try to establish links between genetic variations and different clinical and biological patterns. The research is led by Prof. Javier Martín from the "Instituto López-Neyra" of Parasitology, CSIC (Granada). We contribute by sending samples from our cohort of patients along with the clinical data, and reviewing the results. It is supported by a SAS grant. We are currently enrolled in this multicentre study supported by the “EULAR Sjögren’s Task Force” to elaborate and agree on a systemic disease activity index for patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome, that will be useful in the management of the disease. This study is coordinated by Dr. Raphaele Seror from the “Service de Rheumatologie Hôpital Bicêtre”, France.
