Xavier Molina and Inma Fuentes present the advantages of the 13th floor, located at the Mother and Child Area

The responsible of the Clinical Support Unit (USIC), Inma Fuentes, and the head of the Promotion and Clinical Trials Unit, Xavier Molina, have participated in the programme "http://www.catradio.cat/audio/755367/Xavier-Molina-i-Imma-Fuentes-del-Centre-de-Recerca-Clinica-de-Vall-dHebron" "http://www.catradio.cat/audio/755367/Xavier-Molina-i-Imma-Fuentes-del-Centre-de-Recerca-Clinica-de-Vall-dHebron" 'La Poma de Newton' broadcasted by Catalunya Ràdio, to present the new facilities of the 13th floor dedicated to clinical research.Last summer "http://www.vhir.org/salapremsa/mitjans/mitjans_detall.asp?Idioma=en&mv1=5&mv2=1&mh1=0&mh2=0&mh3=0&mh4=0&ms=0&any=2013&num=187" VHIR opened an exclusive floor of 625m2 located at the Mother and Child building, with 7 consulting rooms, an extraction room and a laboratory for sample management and temporal conservation. The new space " will make researchers’ job easier because it concentrates all the tests without distorting the assistance routine of the hospital, and gives special attention to patients participating in a clinical trial", as Molina explained on air. On the other hand, Fuentes qualified the constant volume in the developing of clinical trials at Vall d’Hebron, as "a decision of the pharmaceutical industry to centralize their projects in the top research centers, in times of crisis".
