Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Completed the Psychiatry specialty at Hospital Santa Maria de Lleida. I have been practicing as a specialist since 2006, mainly in the inpatient setting. PhD in Psychiatry from the UAB in 2015. Title of the doctoral thesis: “Study on medically serious suicide attempts in a general hospital: sociodemographic and clinical aspects.” Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Legal Medicine at the UAB School of Medicine since 2024. My areas of interest are mainly suicide, hospitalized psychiatric patients, and addictions.
