It responds to the information technology requirements of both research personnel and the research support units at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) with regard to IT technologies and infrastructures. One of the main objectives of the Information Technology Unit is the management of a centralised database called Hippocrates/Hypatia, created to manage all the knowledge of the institution, covering both internal and external processes.
