Entre les malalties infeccioses la meva principal àrea d'interès és la Medicina Tropical, la Tuberculosi i la Salut Internacional. Actualment la meva activitat assistencial i investigadora es desenvolupa a l'Hospital Vall d'Hebron i a l'Institut de Recerca Vall d'Hebron.

La meva activitat assistencial es centra actualment en l'atenció de pacients amb malalties infeccioses, i específicament pacients amb malalties importades, parasitosis i tuberculosi. A nivell docent participo en cursos i màsters de Medicina Tropical, Salut Internacional i Tuberculosi vinculats a diferents entitats universitàries. Participo en nombroses ponències nacionals i internacionals tant de divulgació com d'investigació. Les línies d'investigació en les que treballo inclouen tuberculosi, arbovirosis, geohelmints, malaltia de Chagas, hidatidosis, leishmània així com gestió de dades en salut internacional. Actualment participo en projectes d'investigació nacionals i internacionals. A nivell de publicacions en revistes científiques en els últims 5 anys he participat en més de 40 publicacions en revistes internacionals.
