Antonio Gil Moreno Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital since 2013. Professor of the Chair of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona since 2010 and Principal Investigator of the Biomedical Research Group in Gynecology. My involvement in clinical and translational research in endometrial cancer began in 1997. Currently, research is also carried out in ovarian cancer, endometriosis and cervical pathology. From here, and with the aim of improving the healthcare system, I have participated in 45 research projects, 20 of them as principal researcher. These projects have resulted in a total of 285 articles with an Impact Factor, 38 articles in national magazines, 37 book chapters, and 5 patents. Among his tasks we find Director of the Department of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, since 2021, Director and coordinator of the Research Network of the Section of Oncology Gynecology and Breast Pathology of the Spanish Society of Oncology Gynecology (SEGO), since 2017, vicepresident Member of the Sección de Ginecología Oncológica y Patología Mamaria de la Sociedad Española de Ginecología Oncológica (SEGO), since 2017 and Member of the Internal Scientific Committee (CCI) of the VHIR since 2018.
