Bernat Planas Pascual

I am Dr. Bernat Planas Pascual, a physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience specializing in cardiorespiratory rehabilitation. My professional journey combines clinical excellence, academic leadership, and innovative research to advance healthcare standards and improve patient outcomes. Currently, I work as a Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and serve as an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My academic contributions are complemented by ongoing research in critical care physiotherapy, lung transplantation, and neuromuscular disorders, with several publications in high-impact journals. With a PhD in Medicine and multiple postgraduate degrees, I am passionate about applying evidence-based practices and empowering the next generation of physiotherapists. I have developed and delivered specialized courses on respiratory physiotherapy, early mobilization, and advanced diagnostic techniques, helping bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical application. My commitment extends beyond the clinical and academic sphere to active participation in national and international congresses, where I contribute to advancing physiotherapy practices and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration. I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals, share knowledge, and explore opportunities to innovate and elevate the field of physiotherapy. Feel free to reach out to discuss potential collaborations or initiatives.
