I am a psychologist with clinical experience and as a researcher in the field of mental health. I am part of the Mental Health Service at the hospital. Since 2008, I have been working in the Addiction and Dual Disorder Section.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Concepción, Chile. Later, I earned a Master's degree in Health and Well-being Dynamics through an Erasmus Mundus scholarship at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry from the same university.

My clinical tasks include the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with substance use disorders and their comorbidities. Thus, my research interests focus on studying the characteristics of individuals with substance use disorders. I have published numerous articles on the characteristics and evolution of patients who, in addition to addiction, face other mental health disorders.
