My name’s David Sabater and I’m in possession of the PhD in Cell Biology. My doctoral thesis, as well as other tasks, were performed under the tutelage of Drs. Ricardo Pedro Casaroli-Marano and Manuel Reina del Pozo, in the environments of CELLTEC-UB and Advancell S.L. Since then, I've worked in various college and clinical centers, always involved in biological and biomedical research tasks.

- Superior Degree Researcher, CIBER of Hepatic and Digestive Diseases. Study of ischemia-reperfusion models for liver transplantation in an animal model (pig, rat, mouse). Hospital Clínic i Provincial de Barcelona, CEK Building. (2016-2019).

Doctoral Thesis entitled “Expresión y funcionalidad de las variantes del receptor de VLDL con y sin el dominio de O-glicosilación, en un modelo celular MDCK y en células endoteliales”, finished and published in the TESEO database.


My general technical experience includes cell culture, flow cytometry, DNA/RNA extraction and RT-PCR, microarrays, HPLC, ELISA, Western blot, immunofluorescence, electron microscopy, confocal fluorescence microscopy and image analysis, and the manipulation of research animals. I also have some experience in bioinformatics software (IPA), SPSS, and basic notions of C++/python programming.
