Assistant Physician in the Digestive Service at Vall d'Hebron Hospital, Crohn-Colitis Care Unit (UACC).

I studied Medicine at the University of Alcalá, conducting my undergraduate thesis on the utility of leukapheresis in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I specialized in Digestive System at this hospital, completing my training in 2021 and immediately beginning subspecialized training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease within the same department. I have been actively involved in research in the same field and have provided clinical care in monitoring patients with IBD. I have experience in monitoring biological treatments, applying statistical models to adjust anti-TNF therapies. Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral thesis in the field of pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics of patients treated with thiopurines and anti-TNF agents.
