I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Fundació Esclerosi Múltiple de Catalunya - VHIR and an associate professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. My research focuses on advanced neuroimaging and computational modelling applied to neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases, with a particular interest in the characterization of brain dynamics.

I hold a PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where I developed my doctoral research in computational neuroscience. I previously obtained a degree in Basic and Experimental Biomedicine from the University of Seville and completed a master’s degree in Bioinformatics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Throughout my career, I have combined neuroimaging, bioinformatics and computational modelling tools to study the relationship between brain activity, behaviour and disease. I have worked on projects related to disorders of consciousness, bipolar disorder, neurodegenerative diseases and multiple sclerosis.

Currently, at the Fundació Esclerosi Múltiple de Catalunya - VHIR, I conduct research focused on the advanced analysis of magnetic resonance imaging data and its clinical application. My goal is to contribute to a better understanding of the disease and to identify markers that can support patient stratification and clinical decision-making.
