Currently, I am the Head of the Urology and Kidney Transplant Service. I carry out my work in the area of uro-oncology with special focus on renal tumor pathology, minimally invasive surgery (robotic surgery), and kidney transplantation.

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1994, doing my specialization via MIR at the Bellvitge Hospital.

At the end of it, I joined the Urology Department at Vall d'Hebron Hospital as an assistant physician, where I was Kidney Transplant Coordinator and Clinical Head of the Prostate, Kidney and Transplant Pathology Unit until 2019. I actively participate in numerous research projects in kidney cancer and transplantation within the Renal Pathophysiology Group of VHIR where I am a researcher.

Doctor of Medicine from the University of Barcelona since 2004 and Professor of Surgery (Urology) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Teaching Unit of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital).

I am a postgraduate in Clinical Management and Pharmacoeconomics.

I belong to the Spanish Association of Urology, the European Society of Urology (EAU), the Catalan Society of Urology and ASESA.

I have been the author of different articles in both national and international journals and director of several doctoral theses. I also graduated in Art History from the UNED with a specialization in modern art.
