Quantitative analysis of MR images: image analysis and software development

This line is focused on the analysis of magnetic resonance images for quantification purposes. To do it, we combine the use of tools designed for this purpose with software specifically designed for this purpose in our group. The work of this line is the result of the application of computer vision techniques, image processing, pattern recognition and fuzzy logic to the analysis of magnetic resonance images. Some areas of interest are the measurement of lesion features, and the quantification of iron in SWI weighted images.
