I am a PhD psychologist at the Mental Health Service and a VHIR researcher. My interests are drug addiction and mental health, particularly tobacco use disorder, and the psychology of change behaviour in general. I enjoy helping patients to care for themselves, training professionals and research. In addition, I actively participate in the Smoke Free Hospital Committee.

I am a PhD psychologist at the Mental Health Service and a VHIR researcher. My interests are drug addiction and mental health, particularly tobacco use disorder, and the psychology of change behaviour in general. I enjoy helping patients to care for themselves, training professionals and research. In addition, I actively participate in the Smoke Free Hospital Committee.

I started my career at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in 2006 as a psychologist carrying out specialized intervention in smoking cessation in individual and group format, I have specialized in smoking cessation in patients with psychiatric disorders (including other addictions). My PhD was on Tobacco and Mental Health. I have a master's degree in Smoking Cessation Specialist (PIUFET, 2022).
I am an associate professor of Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, professor of several university master's degrees and lecturer in face-to-face and online related courses. I am part of the board committee of the Catalan Society for the Prevention and Treatment of Smoking, member of the Tobacco and Mental Health Group coordinated by the Catalan Network of Smoke-Free Hospitals, member of the Tobacco Group of the CAS Coordinator of Catalonia, and the Vulnerability Group promoted by the Public Health Agency of Catalonia.
I am also the author of several national and international publications. I have participated as a researcher in several projects and clinical trials. I have also collaborated in the publication of several clinical guides.
