I got a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. As a postdoctoral researcher, I worked at the Department of Biochemistry and at the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine, both at New York University Medical Center, New York (USA). During 2003-2009 I was a researcher of the Ramon y Cajal program at Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG) at Barcelona (Spain). Since 2010 I joined the biomedical research center Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) as a Biobank facility coordinator, and since 2013 I am the Biobank Director.
