I graduated in Medicine from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and completed my Rheumatology residency at Hospital Universitario Mútua Terrassa. During my training, I progressively focused my career on Pediatric Rheumatology, bone metabolism, and translational research. I currently work at Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron as a rheumatologist in both the Pediatric Rheumatology Unit and the Pregnancy and Rheumatic Diseases Unit. My clinical activity is mainly focused on pediatric secondary osteoporosis, osteogenesis imperfecta, and inflammatory rheumatic diseases in childhood. I coordinate a phase III clinical trial and participate in multicenter collaborative projects focused on bone health and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. I am also actively involved in resident and trainee education. Alongside my clinical work, I am developing research projects focused on pediatric musculoskeletal health and translational medicine. I am currently pursuing my PhD at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona within the OssiPED project, a longitudinal study aimed at the early identification of musculoskeletal complications in pediatric oncohematology patients using imaging and omics approaches. I actively participate in national and international scientific societies and collaborate in research and educational initiatives focused on pediatric rheumatic diseases.
