Teaching activity as Tutor of Residents of Anaesthesiology and participates as Vocal Member in the Hospital Committees of General Protocols Quality and Transfusion Committee, along with the Blood Bank, leading the development and implementation of the transfusion protocol in severe bleeding and the use of viscoelastic tests at Vall d'Hebron Hospital. Dr. Mora has been an instructor of Advanced Trauma Life Support courses since 2009 and has worked within the Spine Surgery Research Group at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute. Faculty member of the International Training Seminars and Master about Patient Blood Management organized by the Danube University of Krems (Austria) since May 2015. Clinical Associate Professor of Department on Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma Barcelona since November 2016. Main areas of expertise are anaesthesia management in major orthopaedic surgery, especially spine surgery, resuscitation of severe trauma patients and management of severe bleeding and acute coagulopathies. Co-author of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) Guidelines of Management of Severe Perioperative Bleeding Second update, co-author of the European Guidelines for Advanced Bleeding Care in Trauma ABC-T (Advanced Bleeding Care in Trauma) sixth edition and co-author of the European Guidelines on Thromboprophylaxis (ESAIC), update 2024. He is currently concluding his doctoral thesis project on massive transfusion at Vall d’Hebron Hospital.
