Luis Gerardo Alcala Gonzalez

I obtained a medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2012. I did the medical residency in internal medicine from March 1, 2012 to February 29, 2016 at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition "Salvador Zubirán" in Mexico City, obtaining the title of specialist in internal medicine. I presented the MIR opposition in February 2016 and did the digestive system specialty at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital from may 2016 to may 2020. I am currently enrolled in the doctoral program in medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona since November 2019. I am part of the research group in digestive physiology and pathophysiology, where I actively work on projects of intestinal motility research.
