Diploma in Statistics (2000) and Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics (2011) from UAB. I completed the Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at UOC (2019), and more recently, I obtained my PhD in medicine from UAB (2022) with an epidemiological and hospital cost study of epilepsy.
With over 20 years of experience as a biostatistician in the Neurology Department, I have conducted statistical analysis of data from national competitive projects as well as internal research projects. Currently, I am part of the research team in epilepsy, where I am actively involved in research activities, managing various projects and trials within the group, as well as handling statistical and bioinformatic data.
I am the co-author of over 150 articles published in indexed journals, mostly derived from projects related to epilepsy. Currently, I am a co-investigator on two competitive projects within the group, primarily focused on the search for biomarkers (proteins and microRNA) associated with epileptic status and the prediction of new epileptic seizures.
