PhD in Organic Chemistry (Faculty of Pharmacy, UB) and BSc in Chemistry (UAB), with a career path that combines scientific research and strategic innovation in healthcare. I began my career as a researcher at IQAC-CSIC and the Barcelona Science Park, designing and synthesizing new drug candidates against various therapeutic targets. This scientific foundation paved the way toward healthcare innovation management, a field I have worked in since 2019 at institutions such as Fundació Leitat (CIMTI) and the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute, and currently as Senior Innovation Manager and Tech Transfer at VHIR. I lead the strategic evaluation and prioritization of healthcare innovation projects, and design and execute their technology transfer plans: intellectual property protection, licensing models, and commercialization pathways. I also negotiate collaboration agreements with other research institutions and industry, and support the creation of spin-offs, from structuring the maturation plan to connecting with funders and private investors. I am also involved in teaching activities at VHIR, both delivering sessions in the Master's in Translational Biomedical Research and coordinating one of the modules of the Master's in Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I am motivated by contributing to the improvement of healthcare innovation and, ultimately, to patients' quality of life.
