In a social gathering format, they will explain why the need for this medical check will resolve the doubts about the most frequent diseases in these groups according to country of origin and migration route. Also, they will cover the preventive measures recommended by the staff working in the hosting centres.- Sociocultural keys and resources to recognize and communicate effectively. It aims to help identify the best tools and resources to overcome the language barrier in the main immigrant population groups in Barcelona. Led by Nacho Peña and Martina Corral.- Transcultural mental health. The objective of the workshop directed by Dr. Francisco Collazos is sharing the experience accumulated in the Vall d'Hebron Transcultural Psychiatry Program, a reference centre in the city of Barcelona. The workshop aims to be a space for interactive debate in which possible alternatives can be commented to optimize work with the most vulnerable groups (victims of trafficking or abuse, unaccompanied minors, asylum-seekers/refugees ...). The intervention model will be discussed among hosting centres and mental health professionals, as well as the role that community health agents could play in this coordination proposal.
