Conxita Jiménez, nurse of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome group at VHIR, led by Dr. José Alegre, has been selected for the call for Research Projects of the Barcelona’s Nursing Association (COIB) 2012 for her work “Clinical trial, random, prospective, to value the effect of acupuncture in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome”. The COIB is funding with 2.400 euros this work awarded with other 7 projects. Jiménez is accredited as acupuncturist in the Nursing Association, has realized several studies at Beijing University and the Master of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture at the Universitat de Barcelona. This clinical trial is the first carried out at VHIR on acupuncture.
