The Biomedical and Biotechnology Research UAB Forum, held on 21 October, has pooled the entire biomedical and biotechnological research that takes place around the project UAB, to raise awareness of the skills, strategic projects for institutions and major research lines of the set of institutions, among others, to all the conference attendees gain a global idea of the potential in biomedical research of international excellence UAB campus.The Forum therefore serves to develop research projects, doctoral and master of excellence jointly by members of the aggregate of the field of biomedicine and biotechnology. It also makes better use all the scientific-technical services and access to digital library, which will strengthen the strategic international excellence campus of UAB in this area. During the meeting, which closed the Catalonian Minister for Innovation, Universities and Companies, Josep Huguet, the Minister of Health, Marina Geli, and the Rector of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Ana Ripoll, intervened research responsibles of the ICS health centers, among which was the director of VHIR, Dr. Joan Comella.
