Clinical research grant of the Academy of Medical Sciences for VHIR's project

Dr. Maria Goya, member of the research group of maternal fetal medicine at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) has been rewarded with a clinical reseach grant by the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and Balearics. The prizes, which are celebrated anually and were presented on May 22, awarded the project 'Prospective random multicenter Clinical trial for the prevention of the premature childbirth: use of the cervical pessary and vaginal progesterone'.Dra. Goya is the principal investigator of the project in which also participate doctors Luis Cabero Roura, Elena Carreras Moratonas, Laia Pratcorona, Carme Merced, Carlota Rodó Rodríguez, Maria de la Calle Hernández, Begoña Muñoz, Alberto Rodríguez Melcón, Albert Tubau i Carmen Ribes.
