Comella MD, PhD Director Vall d'Hebron University Hospital - Research Institute (VHIR) Campus Vall d'HebronWe inform you that, as a result of the Country Stop of tomorrow, October 3, to which the Government has adhered, the Vall d'Hebron Campus, in order to respect the right of the professionals who want to welcome, will implement the established measures by the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) with the aim of minimizing the discomforts that may be caused to the citizenry.Vall d'Hebron has developed a contingency plan to guarantee the functionality of the emergency and emergency services and the unplanned activity of special units (intensive care, coronary care, hemodialysis, neonatology, delivery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments and organ transplants ), urgent and non-urgent medical transport linked to special units, home respiratory therapies and outpatient dialysis.Therefore, the rest of programmed activity (visits of primary and hospital care, diagnostic tests and other surgical interventions) must be reprogrammed.
