We already have the winners of the 5th VHIR' Scientific Images Contest! More than 40 original and stunning pictures were submitted in this edition. The jury, comprising VHIR researchers, the graphic design company Subirà Associats, and members of the Communication, Fundraising and Lab Coordination units, have selected 10 winners and two secondary awards.The winner pictures have been posted on https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1102714963079610.1073741850.170528246298291&type=3" VHIR's Facebook page, where you can see them even if you don't have a Facebook account. Most of the images are taken from the microscope and show surprising colors and shapes. Among them, there is one that looks like a pirate ship, another like an owl, a heart or a starfish dancing with stars.The images will decorate VHIR facilities and webpage, as well as the posters for different activities. Finally, for the first time, this year are also going to be part of the 2016 VHIR's planning-calendar that will be soon available.
