Dr. Comella and Dr. Comabella debate on research at Onda Cero radio

Dr Joan Comella, director of Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), and Dr. Manuel Comabella, member of the clinical neuroimmunology grup at VHIR and representing CEM-Cat, participated Monday night in a discussion on research in Catalonia that organized the program 'Pont Barcelona-Madrid' at Onda Cero radio. Moderated by journalist Victor Bottini, both approached to the audience general topics like what means research and what’s the level of Catalonia compared to Madrid and Europe. Speaking of more specific topics, discussed the main research lines of VHIR and CEM-Cat, and explained how work clinical trials. Both shared the thought that Barcelona is over Madrid in the quality and quantity of scientific production, as well as expressed the need for the two cities, leading the investigation in Spain, to compete equal, even more with the present economical crisis.
