The objective of the paper was to present the most common mistakes in the treatment of orthopedic problems during the childhood, from a point of view based on the evidence, to try to prevent unnecessary or harmful treatments.Among the most common mistakes he detected, there are: the unnecessary placement of templates on flat feet, placing apparatus to correct the deviation of the legs, unfounded treatments like babies using two diapers to correct a congenital hip dislocation, or beliefs that suggest high weights in backpacks produces scoliosis.
