Dr. Juan Carlos Ruiz, member of the Shock, sepsis and CPR group at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), intervened in the Russian-Spanish Innovation Business-Forum held from 12 to 14 May simultaneously in Russia and Spain. Dr. Ruiz participated in the scientific-technical conference "Innovation technologies: health care and medicine projects' with the presentation 'Technological Innovation in Critical Care', in which he explained how technological innovation can help to improve care for critically ill patients and also presented several technology projects developed by his group. The forum has been organized as part of the year of Russia-Spain by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Innovation and Ministry of Education of Spain, and aims to help develop and the strengthening of business relations and scientific-technical cooperation between Russia and Spain.
