It is the largest professional society in the world dedicated to deepening the knowledge (education and dissemination), research and treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), for the benefit of patients suffering from this disease. The appointment took place during the last world congress of the society, which was held virtually from 11 to 13 September due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She will hold the position for another two years and then, automatically in accordance with the company's articles of association, she will become the President of ECTRIMS. The annual ECTRIMS conference brings together more than 10,000 health professionals around MS.
