He answered doubts and clarified concepts at DKV Diálogos

Dr. Joan Montaner, head of the neurovascular diseases group at VHIR, has answered to the doubts and questions in a digital meeting with DKV Diálogos, which has taken place this Thursday, 4th of October. During the chat there have been questions about research, prevention and treatment of stroke, and he also talked about the situation of science in Spain, beside answering concrete questions related to diseases and treatments. "Stroke is the most frequent neurovascular disease and there are different types. When a cerebral artery is closed we speak of ischemic stroke and when it breaks we talk about hemorrhagic stroke. The first means 85% of strokes, while the second one is 15%", said Dr. Montaner. "http://dialogos.dkvseguros.es/joan-montaner-04-10-2012/" Read here all the chat
