VHIR's researcher explains how the predisposition to this disease has a genetic base

Many people coexist with a very intense type of headache called migraine. It is already known that this neurological disorder has a genetic base and, in fact, have been discovered the genetic alterations that predispose to suffer it.Dr. Patricia Pozo, leader of the headache and neurological pain group at VHIR has taken part this Monday, 8th October in a debate on migraine at TVE's show 'Para todos la 2', to give the keys of her research. Together with Dr. Pozo have also participated Dr. Rogelio Leira, head of the Neurology service at Hospital Clínico from Santiago de Compostela, and Dr. Jose Michael Láinez, chief of the Neurology service at Hospital Clínico from Valencia.On the other hand, and also at TVE, on October 15, in the show 'Saber Vivir', that treated about headache, also appeared Dr. Pozo explaining the scope of the results of her research.
