Dr. Petriz renewed as president of SIC

Dr. Jordi Petriz, member of the research unit in biomedicine and translational and pediatrics oncology at Valle d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), has renewed as president of the Iberian Society of Cytometry (SIC) for four years at a conference recently held in Bilbao. SIC, established in 1992, develops cytometry studies and research, primarily in the area of Spain and Portugal, establishes relationships and mechanisms of cooperation with those entities that have similar objectives, report discoveries and scientific breakthroughs in the media and organizes conferences, courses, seminars and conferences for the study and development of cytometry and training for people interested in this discipline.
