Dr. Jaume Reventós, head of the Research Unit in Biomedicine and Translational Oncology at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR), presented the latest advances in the "http://www.vhir.org/salapremsa/mitjans/mitjans_detall.asp?Idioma=en&mv1=5&mv2=1&mh1=0&mh2=0&mh3=0&mh4=0&ms=0&any=2011&num=64" molecular kit of endometrial cancer, in the "http://www2.kenes.com/esgo18/Pages/Home.aspx" "http://www2.kenes.com/esgo18/Pages/Home.aspx" Gynaecological Oncology Meeting hosted in Liverpool, England. In the conference "Use of uterine aspirates as a diagnostic tool for endometrial cancer", VHIR’s researcher described examples of molecular diagnosis, based on a transcriptional obtained through vacuum aspirations. This technique was developed together by his unit and the company Geadic, and marketed in July 2012. In the same congress, Dr. Reventós was the chairman and organizer of a session in Translational Research, in which several investigators from The Netherlands, Great Britain and Norway participated.
