26/05/2011 Dr Schwartz at CLINAM 2011 26/05/2011 Dr Simó Schwartz, director of the Nanomedicine CIBBIM AT Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR), was invited this week to the 4th Conference on clinical nanomedicine of CLINAM (European Foundation in Clinical nanomedicine), which took place in Basel, Switzerland. He has been chairman of the session 'A Novel Aspect of Nanobiology, Nanodrugs: Definition, Action, Self Assembly and many more', where he was also speaker of the talks "Nanomedicine, a Big step towards curing cancer' and 'The Short Statements from the Experts'. Moreover, Dr. Schwartz has recently been appointed Deputy Director and responsible for industrial transfer of the Center for Biomedical Research Network - Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN), directed by Pablo Laguna.
