The head of CIBBIM will review significant achievements in basic, translational and clinical nanomedicine research

Dr. Simó Schwartz, head of the CIBBIM- Nanomedicine Drug Delivery and Targeting group at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR), has been named member of the Editorial Board of the journal "http://www.nanomedjournal.com/" Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology, and Medicine, published by Elsevier, a global leader in scientific publishing. Nanomedicine NMB is an international, peer-reviewed journal that delivers the latest advances in the field of nanomedicine. Regular features address significant and original achievements in basic, translational and clinical nanomedicine research, perspectives, case studies, emerging new technologies, and all other nanomedicine related topics that are of interest to researchers, clinicians, practitioners and educators. The role of Dr. Schwartz, as Editorial Board Member, will be to support the journal, review at least two manuscripts annually in his area of expertise if invited, promote the journal at professional meetings, suggest topics, invite potential authors and submit a manuscript to the journal during his two-year tenure.Some VHIR researchers are also associate editors of other prestigious journals, such as Dr. Joan Montaner, editor associate of Translational Proteomics, and Dr. Miquel Vila, associate editor of The Journal of Neuroscience.
