18/05/2012 Dr. Vicario awarded by the Spanish Society of Digestive Pathology 18/05/2012 Dr. Maria Vicario, member of the physiology and physiopatology digestive group at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), has been awarded with the Prize Rising Star SEPD 2012 that organizes the Spanish Society of Digestive Pathology.As one of the best three of Spain the candidacy of Dr. Vicario will compete for the Prizes Rising Star of European Gastroenterology 2013, that will be evaluated by a central Committee in the Euroepan Week of Gastroenterology (UEGW) that will take place in Amsterdam in October. Thanks to this recognition based on her career and specially on her works on irritable bowel syndrome, Dr. Vicario will be also speaker in the scientific program of the 72th SEPD Congress (SED 2013), and its preparatory areas.
