Dr. Miquel Casas, head of the Psychiatry, Mental Health and Addictions group and professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Dr. Jaume Alijotas, head of the CIBBIM-Nanomedicine Basic Research in Aging group, and Dr. Ramon Orriols, researcher from the Pneumology group, have been recognized with the Award for Professional Excellence, given by the Medical Board of Barcelona since 2004.The Medical Board has awarded 42 doctors who stood out last year for their excellence, career, honesty, commitment, altruism and trustworthiness.
