21/10/2010 Grífols Foundation awards VHIR researcher 21/10/2010 Foundation Victor Grifols i Lucas announce four scholarships annually for research on bioethics. In the scholarships, endowed with 5,000 euros each, can participate research projects intending to develop a topic related to bioethics and its practical application. One of the grants awarded this year is for the team led by Dr. Sara Fidel Kinori, from the Research Group in Psychiatry and Mental Health at VHIR on the work: Protecting the confidentiality of medical records: patients in the hospital mental health consultation.This aims of the project are: to ascertain the views and strategies used by mental health professionals to preserve the confidentiality of information in an electronic medical record, and make proposals to reconcile the common aspects of clinical records with the right to preserve the confidentiality of certain information from patients. Awards took place October 19, and in addition to Dr. Kineri, the event was attended by Dr. Joan Genescà, and Lluis Massó, scientific advisor to the Director and Manager respectively at VHIR.
