Last May 31, Guerreros solidarios and Joaquima Vedruna school in Terrassa organized a fundraising virtual event in social media, which will help pediatric cancer research. Given the current circumstances due to COVID-19, the event could be followed live through Instagram (@ZUMBATHONTERRASSA).During all day, different activities were celebrated, such as dancing, zumba, magic, monologues, cooking workshops, children workshops, among others. Under the hashtags #Josumo and #nosotrossumamos, a large number of people collaborated with their "directs" and donations.The final fundraising was euros3,530 and they are added to more of euros10,000 that have been donated in the last 5 years and which are integrally dedicated to give support to the research at the Translational Research in Child and Adolescent Cancer Group at VHIR. Specifically, the support allows the improvement of research by increasing the number of models of brain tumors to know the molecular basis of the disease and to use them to improve the development strategy of new drugs.
