25/07/2013 Horta runs for liver transplant at Vall d'Hebron 25/07/2013 Benefits of the race will be given to yoinvestigo.org for advancing in transplantation research The neighbourhood of Horta in Barcelona will host next 11th of September the "http://www.cursapopular.org/index.php?s=0" "http://www.cursapopular.org/index.php?s=0" Nick Festes d’Horta race dedicated to organ transplantation. All funds collected will be given to the Digestive transplants group, led by Dr. Ramon Charco at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR).Mª José Moscoso, who is in a waiting list for a liver transplant after being diagnosed with hepatic cancer, promotes this race with the aim to advance in transplantation research and to improve the quality of life of transplanted patients. The race will start at 9 A.M. at Plaça Eivissa and will end at the same point after a route of five kilometers. Inscriptions are open until this Saturday 7th of September, with a prize of 9-11 euros. More than 700 runners have already enrolled in the race!
