Students of Master in Management R & D & I in Health Sciences from Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII) visited on February 18 the facilities of Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) to know the inner workings of each of its key areas. During the meeting, the leaders of the various units, introduced by VHIR director, Dr. Joan Comella, were presenting the broad lines of their performances, and at the end, students made a tour at the facilities of the two buildings of VHIR, Collserola and Mediterranean.Over more than four hours, the students with a professional profile, questioned VHIR representatives to learn more about the areas in which they were most concerned and most can be applied to their studies and improvement of the career in the future. VHIR exposure was divided into three parts. First, the institutional and management presentation, second, units in support, such as projects, the Central Unit of Clinical Research and Clinical Trials (UCICAC), innovation and fundraising. To close, the last block was dedicated to the presentation of the core facilities, VHIR's services, the Scientific and Technical Support Unit (UCTS), the biobank and the Animal Facility.
