Coinciding with the Autumn Fair, there were children's games, a musical vermouth, a theatrical performance, as well as a haircut at popular prices. At the end of the weekend, La Murga and other local entities such as La Llagosta + Activa, Pícaro Teatro, the Asociación de Comerciantes y Servicios de la Langosta, Pesca Salada Maria Isabel and Bar la Teja, raised a total of 1.308,17 euros that have just been delivered to VHIR.VHIR is a leading centre for ELA research. The Peripheral Nervous System research group currently has three lines of research dedicated to the study of the molecular mechanisms and genetic mutations of this disease. The group is also part of the international ALSUntangled network, which brings together clinical experts dedicated to the research of alternative treatments for ALS.On the other hand, the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital has an interdisciplinary ALS Unit that meets all the requirements and criteria valued as standards of care quality that a multidisciplinary ALS patient care clinic should have, according to the recommendations described by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the Cochrane Neuromuscular Disease Group, the Société Française de Neurologie and the Federation of European Neurological Societies (EFNS), both in terms of human resources and space availability.
